Keisha is a Jamaican-born, Toronto-based pianist, composer, and arranger. She released her first album in 2022, Caribbean Yellow – a collection of tunes based on the work of Jamaican writer and poet Olive Senior.  She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in jazz studies at York University. Her research interests examine the intersection of Canadian jazz and Black Canadian history and understanding the influence of pan-Caribbean culture in early New Orleans jazz.
